Prior to joining the firm, Brittney D. Johnson practiced complex commercial litigation at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP in Dallas. Brittney’s broad commercial litigation experience includes having represented large corporations, product manufacturers, engineering firms, and a variety of other business entities – large and small – in legal disputes throughout the country. She is seasoned in litigating contentious, high-profile matters involving complex legal issues. With substantive experience handling trials, depositions, hearings, mediations and jury focus groups, Brittney is a skilled and tenacious advocate for her clients.

Brittney draws from this rich background in her current condemnation practice. She meticulously analyzes the legal issues at stake in each case and carefully crafts strategies to effectively steer cases toward favorable resolutions for her clients. Whether her cases resolve outside of the courtroom or proceed all the way to trial, Brittney brings a sense of zeal and integrity to every case and aims to achieve the best outcomes possible for her clients.

Brittney is a graduate of Baylor Law School, where she earned a host of awards on Baylor’s nationally-recognized competitive advocacy teams. A native of Southeast Texas, Brittney worked as a law clerk for Judge Marcia A. Crone on the federal bench in the Eastern District of Texas while in law school. She also gained valuable experience working in the legal department of a Fortune 100 company in Houston as a law student. Brittney completed her undergraduate education at Texas A&M University, where she earned dual bachelor’s degrees and graduated with academic honors.
