This marks the 10th consecutive year Mr. McFarland has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© publication in the practice area of Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law and his first recognition as a “Lawyer of the Year.”

Mr. McFarland's clients include private individuals as well as retail, commercial, and industrial landowners. In addition to his trial practice, he has handled appeals of condemnation cases and other matters in the First, Fourth, Sixth, Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, Thirteenth, and Fourteenth Courts of Appeals and in the Texas Supreme Court.
